This is Elizabeth's second book and once again she has gone beyond most when it comes to sharing her knowledge and instructions.
I have taken many classes with her both in person and online and this book just reinforces everything she teaches. She is by far the best teacher I have studied with. Her attention to detail when it comes to instruction is second to none due to her wonderful writing skills. Working in a series will help you to start at the basics when it comes to design, explore many possibilities and ultimately execute a great body of work! This is not just a basic design book but one with great detail and ideas. For sure a "must have"!

I have taken one online workshop from Elizabeth. She is a great teacher, her feedback very thorough and invaluable. Her books also take you through the process of learning to create your own voice and guide you developing as a fibre artist. I recommend oth her books even if you are not taking one of her online courses through Academy of Quilting. I will take all her courses.. Her methods of instructing develops your own creativity and you quickly realize we all have the ability to design...practce, practice, practice.
